Macross: Do You Remember Love? is the classic animated film based on the original Super Dimension Fortress Macross television series, which was the basis for the popular American version, Robotech.

The movie, while not a part of the Macross television-series continuity, serves as a condensed version of the Macross series as a whole. Its plot revolves around Hikaru Ichijo (Rick Hunter in Robotech), a hotshot pilot, and his love triangle with pop-star Lynn Minmay and the Space Fortress Macross' first mate, Misa Hayase. This romantic tale is framed by a war between humans and the alien Zentraedi over possession of the space fortress, also known as the SDF-1. Its title is derived from its romantic themes, as well as the fondly remembered song performed by Lynn Minmay during the movie’s climactic battle sequence
